You’re so edgy and politically incorrect. You remind me of old Cracker Von Patriarch, who also challenged the status-quo by embracing it with loving tenderness.
It’s nice to know that there are so many smug white people out there who get so much casual enjoyment out of their racism.
I mean, we all know you all think we’re worthless.
This isn’t news, but thanks for confirming it yet again.
It’s a great campaign, too. People suck.
pretty sure i saw one with a dog too. :|
i. cant.
This is racist as fuck. I cannot. Because equating actual people and their pain/frustration/plea for dignity of the original and appropriate campaign to the “plight” of fictional, nonhuman characters is insanity. This postracial society is just not the business at all…
So, people’s answer to a campaign fighting racism was to be more racist? Because now, you’ve just crossed the line and jumped into Idiotville with a one-way ticket.
Those campaigns were GREAT. And what white people [that have problems with those campaigns] fail to realize is that with POC there is already a limited amount of costumes to choose from. Let’s start by saying that. Then let’s go on to say that there is a plethora of characters for white people to choose from, so why you feel the need - why it aches your asses SO MUCH to be a POC in costume will never be clear to me.
And then, when you choose to be a POC in costume, you pick the most offensive things you can find. Black!face gangster, Muslim with bomb strapped to chest, stereotypical Mexican you see in movies, appropriating the culture of Native Americans, etc.
And when someone calls you out on it, what do you do?
You don’t sit and learn from your mistakes.
No, you come back and became more hurtful.
Like this.
But this is even worse because you are basically saying that POC are just like any other cartoon characters/superheroes/characters you choose to dress up as on Halloween.
Which basically means we aren’t anything important to you but something to imitate when the mood suits you.
Well fuck anybody that doesn’t find offense to this to be honest.
reblogging for commentary
I have been seeing a couple of these on my dashboard and have been really fucking unsettled by it. So, basically, as a forewarning—if you reblog these with a “LOLOLO SO FUNNY~” comment, I’m judging you.

Re-blogging for brilliant commentary.
All of this. It’s incredibly frustrating to see such a good campaign get overrun with such mocking drivel.
I think it’s also important to note that mocking these campaigns isn’t just about race. Culture just isn’t about race....
The funny thing about this commentary is at least where I am, the majority of people I’ve seen mock this campaign aren’t...
i will risk losing followers to comment on this. DEAR FUCKING GOD PEOPLE! Relax! Yes, some costumes are not in good...
Thanks. This comment was necessary. Whoever who did those post mocking a great campaign is a racist idiot.
